FSPC for MS-DOS Release 2.0 New Features & Systems Changes are list by topic within the FSPC main menu bar categories. The appropriate pages in "Getting Started with FSPC" follow each topic name that are amended by this document or it is marked as entirely "New" feature.

Select Member Group (page 21):
Six new member groups have been added to the base system member group list, Program Personnel, Officer & Program Personnel, Officer or Program Personnel, 3rd & 4th Degree Members, Outstanding Balances, and Retention Committee.
Browse Member Group (pages 21-22):
The Browse Member Group Screen has been changed. The Membership Type and Membership Class codes now appear on this screen as abbreviations. For example, a membership type code ASSOCIATE = Asc. or a membership class code of REGULAR=Reg.

Note: If these abbreviations do not appear on the Browse Member screen, you can have them appear by going to the View Member Record/General screen for each record in your file and then click on the Member Type Code and the Member Class Code for each record. When you do this the abbreviation should appear to the right of the Type and Class code fields. This will update the codes in the browse screen for that record. You can page forward from record to record by using the PF8 Key (PF7 pages you backwards).
Note: Membership Type Codes Other1, Other2 and Other3 have been added to the pop-up list of available Membership Type Codes. These codes can be used to identify groups
of member records you maintain in your system for which they is no unique membership type code (widows, womans auxiliary, state officers, misc. records, church addresses, etc.).
In addition the current (highest degree) attained and the current net, ledger balance is now being displayed on the browse member screen. A credit ledger balance is indication by "CR" following the balance figure. For example: 25.00CR
View Change Member Screen (page 23):
A three position abbreviation for the Type Code and Class Code now appear on the general screen to the right of the Type Code and Class Code pop-up fields. These abbreviations also appear in the Browse Member Group screen. Should you add a new Class Code via the Council Setup Screen, you should also enter a unique three-position abbreviation. If you added a new class code, previous, you must no add a three-position abbreviation for that new class code in the Council Setup Screen. After you have added the code, click on Update to enter the abbreviation in all records bearing that class code. if you wish to see the abbreviation displayed on your Browse Member Group screen.
"Fraternal" has been removed from the Fraternal Screen Source Code pop-up field.
"Re-Application" has been added.
A proposer lookup feature has been added. After click on the word PROPOSER in a members record Fraternal screen, select that members proposer from the Browse Member Group pop-up screen. The proposers name, membership number, area code and home phone number, if present in his record, will appear in that record. This assumes that the poposer has a record within your council database. If he does not, you may add this information manually. This information is used for membership retention efforts.
A membership Re-entry Date field has been added to the Fraternal Screen. This field can be used to calculate continuous service and can be included in custom queries and user defined reports. (Listed as Date Member Re-entered Council in the Query
