LETTERS
The FSPC program has a basic letter writing capability. You can print a letter for any member you have entered into the FSPC database. There are two parts to the letter writing process in the FSPC for Windows program: creating the letter, and printing the letter.
Creating the Letter
To write a letter you first need to click on the Output menu and select Letter. Click on Add to bring up a blank letter.

In the top box (1) beside the Letter button, enter in a title for your letter. If you want to include the member’s address and/or the date, check the appropriate box at the top. You can also choose whether to use Brother, a Prefix that you entered for that member in their record, or no prefix in the salutation of the letter. You can also choose to close the letter with Fraternally, Sincerely, or without a closing. Also, if you are sending a carbon copy to the member’s proposer, click the CC: Proposer? box. You will need to make sure a letter prints out for the proposers that are listed on the Member Information fraternal screen of the members.
In the Letter Text area (2), you will write the body of the letter. Type in here what you want the letter to read. Put the name of the author in the Signed box. This could be you, or any other officer or member. Also, you need to enter the title of the author in the Title box. When the letter is done, click on OK.
Printing the Letter
To print the letter that you created, click on the Output menu and select Reports, Labels, Letters. Click on Letters on the left and select the name of the letter that you want to print.

If, for example, you wanted to print a Notice of Degree letter to all of your second degree members, you would change the query to Second Degree Members by clicking on the Query button and selecting from that list.
When you print this letter, the member’s name and address (if selected) will print along with the body of the letter.
