EVENTS

The FSPC program allows you to enter events that your council holds in the system. Click on the Edit menu and select Events to access this section of the program.

 

 

To add a new event to the program, click on Add (1) at the top of the window. Then click in the box beside Event and enter the name of the event. Also enter the date of the event on the right under Event No. Click on Chairman 1 (2) to select the chairman for this event. If he has a phone number on his general screen, it will automatically be entered in the phone area. Do the same for the other chairs of the event.

In the Notes section (3), you can enter any notes for the event, such as when it happens, names of stores, contact information, etc.

To add items that were purchased, or money that was received at the event, click on Add in the Items section (4). Enter the date for the item, a description, and the amount. If it was an expense, enter a minus sign (-) in front of the amount. If it was income, then just enter the amount.

Included in the Fraternal reports is an Event Profile report. Here, you can print the events that you entered into the system. You need to modify the query to get the specific event you want – the events are stored by number. To select the number, click on the Modify button. Now you will be in the Query Builder window – you should click on the Equal To and select Equal To from the list. Now you will see the Enter Numeric Value window. Click on the Choices button and choose the event number from the list. Hit OK and then OK again and then close the Query Builder window. Now you are ready to run the report.
